In the context of several national and international research projects we
are looking for graduates of computer science, information management,
business engineering or related sciences for the position as
scientific researcher (BAT IIa)
The main focus of the positions are on:
- Knowledge management in Software-Engineering
- Ontology management (Ontology Creation, Evolution, Mapping, Reasoning)
- Adaptive e-learning
- Semantic technologies for web-scale search
- Semantic technologies for Business Process Management
- Economic aspects and business models for service- and grid-infrastructures
We are looking especially for creative people with outstanding degrees
being able to integrate fundamental scientific research and the ability
to implement ideas for practical use.
We expect:
- interest in interdisciplinary and application oriented scientific work
- deep technical and/or economic analysing and modeling skills (e.g. UML,
EPKs etc.), knowledge of ontologies, RDF(S) or OWL is advantageous
- very good English in speaking and writing
- good programming skills (Java preferred), especially server-side
technologies
- ability for conducting self-contained scientific work
- practical experience during the studies
Additionally, you have knowledge or experience in at least one of the
following areas:
- formal systems (logic, rule-based formalism, machine learning)
- information retrieval
- architecture of data-intensive software systems
- service engineering, design of business and revenues models/incentives
- industry know-how - especially in the area of health care, software
industry and information services, e-government, e-learning.
