University of Bath
Department of Physics
Research Officer and PhD Studentship in RF Spintronics Devices
Nanoscale wireless interconnects based on planar spin oscillators for integrating wireless communications on the computing platform.
This EPSRC funded project aims to investigate electron spin oscillations in microscopically inhomogeneous magnetic fields and their coupling to the electromagnetic field. One focus of the study will be to demonstrate a novel spin resonance effect generating microwave radiation to make wireless intra-chip interconnects.
