The Center for Vision, Graphics & Medical Imaging at the University of Florida, Gainesville, USA, has an opening for a postdoc.
The postdoc will be expected to develop mathematical models and software in C/C++ for the prediction of Epilepsy from diffusion weighted MRI data sets. The candidate should have a strong background in applied math (specifically differential geometry) and statistics. Solid programing skills in C/C++ and experience in working in a Linux environment is desirable.
The applicant should have excellent demonstrated skills in written and spoken English.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in one of the following or related fields: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math or Physics. The position is renewable on a yearly basis
for upto 4 years based on performance.
