COMSEE (Computers that See) is a Computer Vision research team based at the LASMEA laboratory, located near Clermont-Ferrand in the central region of France. We announce an opening for available position for a PhD student, within the framework of the ANR Project ODIAAC (Odometry for driving help in urban areas). We are seeking someone to start in mid November 2006, and the position carries a three-year commitment.
Applicants should have a Master of Science (or an equivalent diploma), strong background in applied math, good programming skills in C or C++ (experience working in a Unix environment is a plus), and skills in English.
