One-year, Temporary, Full-time Assistant Professor - Computer Science & Mathematics
RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach major courses in Computer Information Systems, including Advanced Programming, Programming Internet and Web Applications, and C Programming. Ability and willingness to teach lower-level mathematics courses and/or statistics a plus. Other responsibilities include collaboration with other academic departments and the oversight of internships. QUALIFICATIONS: MA in Computer Science or a related field required; ABD or Ph.D. preferred. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable. Commitment to college teaching excellence, scholarship and professional development, and community and collegial service are required.
SALARY: Based on qualifications and experience as defined by VSC-VSCFF Agreement; generous benefits package. STARTING DATE: September 2006
