Robotics and Applications (RA 2007) will be an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in robotics and the broad range of its applications. Specific emphasis will also be placed on telerobotics, as in parallel also a conference on Telematics will be organized. Applications of telematics, receiving increasing attention due to the tremendous progress in telecommunication and data processing technologies, are widely diversified and interact strongly with telerobotics. In the frame of RA 2007, different aspects of robotics will be addressed from the university and industry point of view. Topics covered by RA 2007 include, but are not limited to:

Considered the capital of Lower Franconia, Würzburg, Germany, dates back to 1000 B.C. The Fortress Marienburg, the city's most prominent landmark, was an ancient Celtic stronghold. Since then, Würzburg has evolved into an artistic and religious centre for the region, boasting the Romanesque St. Kilian's cathedral and the renowned Würzburg residence, a UNESCO cultural treasure.
